As a parent of a gifted child, you naturally want the best for them. Our desire at The National Academy for the Gifted is to support you and provide the best possible experience. Our online education program has been a labor of love by many dedicated and committed individuals. We are passionate about our mission to meet the needs of gifted and talented children.

In our gifted program, children are encouraged to pursue courses they are really interested in. Our extensive course catalogue offers a wealth of diverse courses that enable students to reach way beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. Our teachers are specially trained in differentiated instruction and the psychological, emotional, and intellectual needs of gifted youth so they can offer your child the best support possible. 

To accommodate the needs of gifted students, we offer a variety of options. Your first choice is the status of the student. Students can enroll as Full-Time or Part-Time students. The second choice for your student is whether to take full year courses or jump into shorter courses geared towards enriching his or her educational experience.

• Full-Year Courses (36 weeks, 1 credit per course)
• Thematic Courses (18 weeks, .5 credit per course)
• Immersion Courses (9 weeks, .25 credits per course)

We take your commitment to your gifted child very seriously and believe that you know your child best. If you choose to teach your child at home, we support that decision. On the other hand, we also realize that not all parents feel confident in their ability to teach their gifted child. So we also provide trained teachers who answer questions and show support when your child has a need.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors who believe in the mission of The National Academy for the Gifted, we are thrilled to be able to offer Scholarships for the 2008 Academic Year.  We’re are currently offering scholarships of $1,000, but the fund is very limited and will be available on a first come first served basis. The scholarship is not based on intelligence tests. Scholarships are available to all students who apply while there are still funds available.
