Our Parent's Role at the Gifted School
Parents are Partners
The National Academy for the Gifted is privileged to be considered a partner with so many wonderful parents as we work together to provide an outstanding gifted education. Parents are treasured as vital participants at our online school. Who is more equipped to shape the educational goals for a student than his/her parent? Parents play an active role in determining the student’s grade levels, the learning schedule, and the speed with which your child progresses through our curriculum.
Parent Account
All of our parents have access to a Parent Account webpage. This webpage can be accessed using a unique username and password combination. Once logged in, parents can access the following information:

- Grade Book
- Progress Reports
- Principal's Announcements
- Message Center
- Teacher Access
- Daily Lessons
- Calendar
- Payment Records
- Instructional Time Log
The parent is considered an overall “facilitator” since the parent is usually onsite with the student. However, the Teacher’s Role is proactive and imperative to the child’s success.
Unlimited Phone Consultations
Parents contact our Member Service professionals for gifted education support or for answers to any of their questions or challenges, by e-mail at MemberServices@TheNationalAcademyfortheGifted.org or by toll fee calls to 1-866-9-LEARN-9.

Online Learning System Tutorial
The National Academy for the Gifted has designed a tutorial for parents and children to learn how to navigate through our online curriculum. This is given to parents upon enrollment.
