Gifted Education Options at Our Online Gifted School
The National Academy for the Gifted believes in the power of choice. We provide with you with options – whether you are a parent, student, or school administrator – so that you can tailor our program to your specific needs. Choose from the following to create your ideal gifted program:
CHOICE 1: 9, 18, or 36 Weeks
- Full-Year Courses (36 weeks, 1 credit per course)
- Thematic Courses (18 weeks, .5 credit per course)
- Immersion Courses (9 weeks, .25 credits per course)
We offer you this choice because we understand that everyone is different. Some students may want or need a full year course to supplement their current educational program, while others may want to take a short, intense course over the summer. Choose a full year course, a semester course, or a 9 week course – whichever fits your schedule and meets your needs best.
CHOICE 2: Full or Part-Time
- Full-Time Students (6 or more credits per year)
- Part-Time Students (.25 - 5.75 credits per year)
Full and part time students both are welcome at The National Academy for the Gifted. If you need a comprehensive Gifted Program, our full time option is the best fit. When you have a great educational program already in place, and you’re looking for courses that supplement and enrich that program, our part-time option is for you.CHOICE 3: Teacher or Parent Support

The National Academy for the Gifted has specially trained teachers who are masters in the art of differentiated instruction. We understand, however, that you may be qualified to handle the instruction and may not need our expertise. So, you have the option of using our teachers only if it would best meet your needs. Please note: Students who use our teachers are eligible for graduation from The National Academy for the Gifted.
