Educational VideosThe National Academy for the Gifted features an extensive array of fun and educational videos within each of our gifted education courses.  Learning through colorful, engaging video is a wonderful way for the visually gifted learners to master our gifted curriculum.

Our series of videos will make conceptual ideas come to life in a clear and understandable way.  Words are abstract and as a result, many gifted school students find text on the static page very limiting.  Pictures, charts, and graphs are perfect tools for the visually gifted.  Visual representations break down abstract ideas and make them real.  Full motion video is easily the best solution because it brings conceptual information to life in a way that children can easily comprehend.

Video allows us to illustrate complex trigonometric information.  With video, children can grasp this information with remarkable readiness.  Sine, cosine, and tangent come together in visual harmony to represent a real-world portrayal of lessons learned in our Trigonometry course.  You’ll find your children saying, “So that’s what that means!” when watching our innovative video course material.

Why just read about Christopher Columbus’s monumental crossing of the Atlantic in 1492 when you can watch the stunning drama unfold before your very eyes?  You’ll feel the sting of saltwater and comprehend the looming threat of ship-born disease.  You’ll share in the jubilation that Columbus and his comrades felt when finally landing.  Video helps to bring our gifted education courses to life.

At The National Academy for the Gifted, learning is always a wide-eyed, hands on and heart stomping adventure.
