Philosophy of Giftedness
Giftedness is the combination of talents, abilities, strengths, and uniqueness in a child.
A child's giftedness is like a seed. With the right water, light, and nutrition, a tiny seed becomes a magnificent flower or life-sustaining fruit. Gifted children are awaiting the right environment for those gifts to grow and flourish and blossom. It is the belief of The National Academy of the Gifted that given inspiring opportunities, sensitive nurturing, and an individualized educational program, a student's giftedness will be developed.
The National Academy for the Gifted offers an integrated, multi-dimensional learning environment expressly designed to meet the needs of the gifted.
