What We Do for You – Academic Advising Department
The Academic Advising Department provides support for gifted children and their families. Academic Advisors will guide families through different decisions based on your child’s particular brand of giftedness. The first function that our Academic Advisors will complete is the review of your child’s Giftedness Profile results.
Our Academic Advisors will get to know each child personally and provide assistance over the phone and through e-mail. They will provide one-on-one counseling on how to best meet the needs of your gifted child. In addition, our Academic Advisors will help you set up an account, choose the right gifted education courses, review or transfer your credits. They will also help to create portfolios and transcripts. With an Academic Advisor by your side, you will never have to feel alone in your endeavors. They will be constantly by your side, making sure that you and your child are able to achieve academic success.
